I'm super pumped. Two nights ago I managed to snag one of these for $185 usd. I thought finding one so cheap now was a lost cause. They're selling for about $550 on ebay right now. Apmex had 5 of them for $500 + shipping and they sold out. Now they have 1 listed for $700

2500 mintage. The first coin in the series won the coin of year award.

Wow!!! Great find. Do you mind if I ask where you snagged it from? If you'd rather not say I understand. That was a very good deal.

At the place I linked, eurocollections. They had a strict limit of 1 per customer. After their initial presale they ended up cancelling a bunch of orders from people who tried to order more than 1. They relisted 10 two nights ago and they sold out in just a few minutes. I just happened to be lucky enough to read a post mentioning the listing right as it was posted.

I didn't want to say anything until I got a confirmation that my order was processed and approved. False hopes crushed and all, woulda sucked to hear my order was cancelled. Many people's were as their website glitched out from the flood of orders. Many people got their credit cards refunded already in the last day.

Holy croutons!!! No way.. Again... jealous!...

great score!! i bought three of the cuties for $599 from apmex a couple days ago. now they have more for $100 higher!?!.. dirty tricks if you ask me.

I'm gonna flip it. I don't expect the prices to climb much more until the next coin in the series is released and I don't know when that is. I'd rather make the profit now and use it to buy more coins I can flip to make a profit :-)

hold onto this coin if you have it, last september coinguy was tellin me to buy the owl when it was going for 150 on ebay and you could get the wolverine for 350, i think theyve both about doubled in the last 7 months..this set is very sought after and will only go up

As much as i would like to hold on to it, i purchased this to flip it and i am going to stick to the plan. This coin is going to be an easy 350-400 dollars pure profit in a two to three week time period for one ounce of silver. Hard to resist that! Besides, i maxed two credit cards on half ounce dragons and this will help pay those off.

At the rate prices are climbing on this thing i might be able to get $600-$700 for it.

Mojo... Your instincts were spot on with this coin. It is really in a class of it's own. Nice move on your part to score that coin for what you did. If you do end up selling it, I know it will be a bitter-sweet day for you.

Got one delivered last Thursday, had the same intention of selling it on, but just can't bring myself to do it...

Thought it was a beautiful coin when I first saw a picture of it.... But in the flesh, wow, it's easily the most stunning coin I have seen!!

It's quality is simply breathtaking

Only problem now, is I'm starting to get the urge to complete the collection

When and what will be next in the series? How did you find out this info?

I found out about this coin over at silver stackers. I'm not sure anyone knows what the next coin in the series will be or when it will release. I'll try to find out.
