I actually save all my larger plastic containers. I clean with Vinigar a lot and it has a nice lid, So I have about 6 of them saved. I also occasionally buy "Deli-Cat" cat food for the cats and it comes in a very nice, handy plastic container with a nice lid also.. These are perfect for filling with water later if needed.
to all posts...I think it should be called the water blob sounds cooler, I would get it...I love all apple products I roll with everything apple, from mac iphone ipad apple tv ipods love em all...especially how easily everything syncs together...and the inventors of droid worked with Steve Jobs at apple then quit and stole the platform...as far as which is better to each his/her own, but if you sat down at my 27" mac and said you didn't like surfing the web on it, I would think your crazy!! AAPL will probably burst or might not, who knows for sure, they might just buy America and build safety nets around the borders only time will tell.

There is a difference between surfing the web, and working.

I tried to find one of the old style waterbeds last year. Not as a water source, but because I wanted one. They don't seem to sell them? I found a couple of places online, but they were very different from the waterbeds I am familiar with...lol. Also, even though you treat the water, the liner is not "food grade" so I would be a little nervous about drinking it. I guess one could filter, etc.

I have a king size water bed I'm going to get rid of one way or another. It was my son's. Now he's in college and I have the water mattress out of it. Just the frame is in the bedroom. The mattress is in the garage.

I'm about 30 minutes north of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. LOL
Ouch...well, that would be a little far. Ah well...Go Packers!

Why yes, I am. Sadly, I lost a lot of interest when Favre retired, then un-retired, and then went to the Vikings and was disparaging of Rodgers. It kind of turned me off a bit, but I don't hold that against the team. I just don't pay very close attention to the NFL anymore.
You're in good company regarding the farve fiasco. I intentionally mispell his name and don't capitalize. LOL

After seeing what he was all about after a year or two in GB, I never liked him. I really like Rodgers though...he's the anti-farve. Rodgers isn't an idiot, doesn't throw stupid interceptions on a regular basis, helps the quarterbacks under him......

I frequent a Packer forum and by far the most part all of us really dislike farve and try not to bring him up in discussion.

I think you can tell I'm glad farve's gone! Big Grin
Back on topic...I would be very carefull in using something like this. Seams like a great idea except water is quite heavy (8.35 lb/gal) and most houses are not designed for the tub to be filled with this much water. That's one of the reasons for the overflow vent about half way up in a tub. Make sure your structure will support the weight even if you are on a concrete slab (usually only 4-5"). Just saying.

That is old thinking.

Remember a MAC is just Intel parts under it's unibody frame now. OSX is getting so bloated, it isn't worth it.

This weekend, Sergey Brin, co-founder of Google spoke out against Apple and Facebook:

http://www.guardian.co.uk/technology/201...oogle-brin

Saying that Apple, by having such strict policy on what Hardware/Software you can/can't run on your Mac, is damaging to the open computing market.

Having met this guy before, when I interviewed with Google, I respect him even more now, and he makes very valid points.
Hey girls...got any popcorn left? Tongue (Now that I've managed to offend half the board in under a week, it may be time to just listen for a while.)

I use a Mac on a daily basis, to each their own, for me it suits well, and honestly most the people I come across that are naysayers against apple, don't even use or have not used their products. It is like pulling up next to someone in a Lexus while you are in a Toyota and saying they are pretty much the same b/c they have the same parts under the hood. It is about quality.

Have used Apple products extensively over the past 20 years. To include being forced to use a Mac Book Pro at work, for 5 years. I have plenty of experience with them. They are no better quality than anything else out there.
You can hate on apple all you want it won't change my view or my use of their product.

I didn't ask you too Huh

I am not asking anyone to change their opinion about them. I am stating why I don't like them, both as a professional who works around them daily, and as an individual user.

What is funny though, is how offended people who buy the products get, when you start to question them.
I really liked my iRack and iRan

Not offended here, I think it is funny how many people hate on them, I could care less, it is what I prefer.

Where there is smoke there is fire Smile

People don't "hate" on them. Plenty of people have valid reasons for disliking them. I stated my valid reasons for disliking them earlier, and that wasn't even all of my reasons.

If it is what you prefer fine, but don't call people "Haters" because they have an opinion that differs from yours. You need to respect my opinion, if you want me to respect your opinion. I don't call you a "hater" because you dislike Windows/PC's, do I? No, your personal preference is that of Apple/iOS/OSX. My preference is of Open, Free Computing, which is more supported by Windows, Linux, BSD, etc...
