No, I don't want to put my silver in safety deposit box in the bank.Big Grin
Thought of digging a hole in the backyard, hmmm... maybe.
got myself 2 shotguns but still ..
i am sure some of you guys feel the same way about your silver!! dont you?
Never all in the same place and don't talk about it.

this
A peice of PVC pipe and two end caps glued onto the ends and burried 3 ft underground!
Buried 3 feet deep it OK - although I wouldn't do that myself.
Those of you that bury and then put a few pop cans on top to discourage would be metal detectors . . . if I were out in a field and dug up a number of pop cans in 1 location - it would only encourage me to dig deeper.

I googled the top 5 or 10 places to hide things in the home. Some interesting ideas there - my stash is not in any of those places.
A good Safe (Liberty, central, sentry, first alert, Acme); with Lead protection Smile

Even superman cant get passed that

Man of steel destroyed by lead
I just dont know.Burying it seems to create alot of problems.Putting it in a SDB can be a hassle.I'm toying with the idea of letting a PM dealer put it in a vault, but,if TSHTF,are you going to be able to get it?Thats a concern for me.Not a pressing problem but it will be by the end of the year as I keep stacking.
you can hide it in my house, its really safe.Big Grin

Bury it 3 feet down with a mirror over it and it is supposed to deflect the metal detectors. At least that is what I read somewhere. Smile Anyone else hear this?

Definately not a SDB.. You'll never see it again!! Smile

Remember what happened in England where they charged a bunch of people with false charges and then raided their SDB's and took all their gold, etc.. This was before they went to court. Also, if it gets bad, they will declare a bank holiday to prevent bank runs. You be screwed! Confused

At the compound triple sealed with a vacuum sealer and scattered at several GPS coordinates across several acres.

Honestly folks, lead may soon be as important as silver. Just a thought.
i've heard of people stashing their pm's inside the wall or floorboards of their home, but sealing it back up like it was never opened. eg. no hatch door. seal it away so no one can tell... you won't forget where it is Smile
Maybe you have an old crt-TV, a vcr or such device which is practically useless but still sits around youre house.
Then hide some there., just be sure the spouse dont throw them away just Smile
No thief would take that old electronicstuff anyway.
You could put your silver in a safe deposit box, wait 60 days and receive a notice from the bank reading that they are getting ready to drill your lock because of lack of payment. Your next move will be to frantically look for your receipt and make a mad dash to the bank only to be told that it is a computer glitch. Never, (NEVER) store your silver in the system.
i like the pvc pipe however i wouldnt bury it but put it in the rafters of your basement or some other natural place a pvc pipe would go. you know blend it in
Hide it in your TV, couch, Refridgerator etc.
I would definitely keep it in the house, and never tell anyone, not even a friend.

I personally keep it in a locked safe behind a false wall panel.
