I got my pre-orders in the mail...

This series of coins pays hommage to the humble Canadian penny which was discontinued because the labour costs to mint the cions were higher than the face value.

Oh the irony...

So like where do I see this on the RCM site? Seems like you get "special" updates??

I think it's because I subscribed to their service a while back I get them in advance.

I don't mind - I like these coins as collectors. I'll try to sell some at an upcoming gun show for $30 each.

How do we find out about this?

I think the mint will release them in a few days/weeks.

I never did find them on the website but I opened the mailbox and there were 3 of them in there. I must be on some auto-20 for 20 sign-up thing. They are very nice looking coins.

theyre out on http://www.mint.ca now, i dont know if ill order or not, that guy having a hard time exchanging these at a bank has shaken my confidence in them
