RE: perth mint march releases
As posted on my website, I am doing the exact same! The Titanic and Year of the Dragon coins are going to be winners in my opinion. Check out my site tomorrow as I will be posting all of my recommendations. Last release, (February 2nd), the Berlin Coin Show Dragon was released, but it was not promoted on the website prior to the release date so you never know what could come out tomorrow!

Either way I can not wait!!

RE: perth mint march releases
Is anyone else experiencing this nonsense??? I believe they put this system in place to safeguard against people who on the last release, made multiple accounts and ordered many times to my different locations. I mean 1 hour to process an order!!! Is the site actually that Jamm Packed??!?!?

and that safeguard is good, i dont mind waiting an hour for my order if it stops people from getting a hundred proof dragons each, just to sell on ebay//

RE: perth mint march releases
Good man. All I advise you do is wait until the day that the Perth Mint site says SOLD OUT. Then, in your eBay listing you can promote the fact that it is gone and will never return. I'm thinking of holding onto my proof dragons for a while and just try to sell some Titanics after they sell out.

Good job everyone that was able to benefit from this release! These forums are awesome at keeping us all updated on new coins.

BrotherJohnF: Please make a new section in the forums called "Upcoming Coin Releases" so us stackers of bullion and numismatics can pay retail instead of inflated premiums after the coins are less available. This would really help us all out! Plus I keep track of a lot of coin releases and I would love to inform everyone of the dates and what is currently available.

RE: perth mint march releases
Well, looks like it took less than 7 hours to sell out of the high relief dragons, lol.

I had to send them an email unfortunately because their invoice shows em charging me $21 for shipping when it should have been free.v they never even gave me the option to accept the shipping fee after the long confirmation wait time. It went from 0.00 to 20.99 with no warning.

That's a good idea. I'll ask John or Tech Guy to add it.

NOTICE: THE DRAGON IS BACK ON PERTH MINT!!!

If you missed this coin, it is now available. Head over there as soon as possible because it will eventually sell out for good. The mint cancels some peoples orders and relists the dragon on their site so don't miss out!!

Why would they cancel orders?

Dragon is unavailable again. Also, just got an email saying they corrected the shipping issue.

I ordered one high relief dragon. First time buyers get free shipping? Sent an email about the shipping issue too.

RE: perth mint march releases
Ya, when i submitted the order it said no charge for shipping because it was my first order. But, when the order completed thirty minutes later, i had been charged 21 for shipping. They emailed me back saying it was corrected.

RE: perth mint march releases
the perth mint is good with refunds/returns, you want a coin release thread so you can get the coins without a high premium? dont both of you plan to flip these coins anyways hahaha?

and on another note, the dragon is double thick, which is an amazing addition to the coin..

Well, i dont necessarely want a new coin thread :-p but who doesn't want to pay less?? Yes, i plan to flip these. Will be the first coins i've sold. This was just too hard to resist. Everything year of the dragon sells great and with these being so limited....

RE: perth mint march releases
Do you purchase these coins for the pleasure you get out of owning something beautiful? Or do you purchase these with the idea of some day making a profit on them?

I purchased two of those high relief dragons for $107 each and they are selling for about $250 each on ebay. As soon as my shipping is confirmed i plan on selling them both and making an easy $200+ profit.
