perplexed over mining shares ?

hello brother

i am perplexed about something
i have some money to invest
and i have been stacking (all silver)
i keep getting mixed advice on buying mining stocks or not
my dilemma is.. suppose the doomsday scenario happens
the currency collapses and derivatives tank
will i lose whatever i have in mining shares ?
is it just better to take what ever money i have and just buy physical.
i have an itch to buy some mining stocks but feel hesitant
can you give me you perspective ?
