Good on ya mate!

You are a dedicated earner. It's motivational to see you "press hard" and stack upwards.

Nope. Somebody told me about it. They are hobbyists...and hunters of the kind of gold the Kiln-guy was melting into a button. I just thought it was neat....and if I find myself with time to kill, I will perhaps take up the hobby and it will maybe become useful info. There's a decent amount of gold and silver in Idaho...and people are taking up the hunt for it.

As far as the jewelry is concerned...it's like 90% silver and can be turned in to the refinery for re-work into a 999 product. If I had access to the populations and the jewelry....I'd collect on the cheap...absorb the costs to refine...and sit on the finished product and await the expected price appreciation.

Just throwing ideas out there at ya....in case you're looking to fine tune your maneuvers.

Peace be to you

RE: Your gold to silver ratio
Currently in weight ratio 100 to 1, silver to gold. Although I think silver has a better chance of % increase, I think its always worth spreading the risk a little. UK 20% vat on silver and 0% on gold also means I am getting nearer to spot price on the gold. So no move means I loose less on gold in a stagnant market, although I dont think this will be the case.
Anyone investing in other pm's?

RE: Your gold to silver ratio
30-70. The question is if this should vary according to the gold/silver price ratio. As for me, I am not diligent enough to bother calculating.

RE: Your gold to silver ratio
I hope the ratio goes rogue....and spikes to 100:1 like in 1991.

I would swap for more silver, then use it to convert back when it corrects in the other direction.

Stacking silver is dangerous. You are the most hated people on the planet. Your vitriol reaches the ears of the "Suppressionists"

A small holding in gold is an excellent insurance policy for your silver stack.

I think the ratio is only for stacking, when the ratio sets a new low more in line with it's above and below ground statistics.

Up until that time, it should be used as a tool, and leverage to grow your stacks further.

RE: Your gold to silver ratio
I am 10% gold and 90% silver because in my point of view, silver is a more inadequate commodity compared to gold..

RE: Your gold to silver ratio
I'm not exactly sure right now but I think I'm getting closer to 50% silver 50% gold. That was always my goal but I got a little over exuberant on the silver side, lol.

Assumptions are the most dangerous things in the universe.

RE: Your gold to silver ratio
It depends how you measure it.

In grams I have well over 95% in silver and less than 5% in gold. But in temporary fiat currency well its changing all the time isnt it.

When I started buying silver it was 90:1 silver to gold price ratio. Then it went down to 70:1 and I swapped a lot of gold for silver. Now its 50:1 and still falling, I do not think it will ever get back upto 90:1 or even 70:1 ever again. If it did then lots of people will be swapping their gold for silver.

RE: Your gold to silver ratio
As soon as the g/s ratio hit 58.x-60, sold most Au for arbitrage. Averaging 56 oz Ag per oz O Au. Turn around when 1/30. I can't think of a safer way to increase total holding/value
