Water.....What other ways am I missing?
So I buy water almost every time I go to the store, usually 10-20 gallons at a time, depending on what is on sale. I also always buy Distilled water from the store. I would say we have about 300 Gallons or so of Distilled Water.
My question is this, even with 300 Gallons, and growing, of water, what other methods are there for potable water? I have Lifestraws, and was thinking of getting a Life Lister Bag. I rent my house, so I can't put rain barrels on it very effectively. We also stock pile some Iodine Tablets. We live on Well Water, but I am not sure if getting a generator to power my well pump, is a worthy investment. So what is everyone else doing for water? It is just my wife and myself we are stocking up for, but I know 300 Gallons won't last forever. RE: Water.....What other ways am I missing?
Ecoloblu Atmospheric generator.
its grabs water from the humidity in the air and dispenses it hot or cold!! Works really well, i think i recall about 30 litres a day in humid weather. The water goes through a purifying system, reverse osmosis. The machine itself is about one meter high, 30 cenimiters wide. If you had a generator or even solar panel, which i think you can by as an attachement.... then its water no matter what. I cost us $1500 including importing to Australia. So worth it if you are buying water from the supermarket all the time. |

RE: Water.....What other ways am I missing?
It doesnt have to be high humidity, just normal relative humidity, above 35% will produce water.
In US Vegas has lowest humidity which has a low of 21 and high of 39 perccent. i suggest dnt live there if you dnt have a water well and are expecting a crisis lol but most ppl wld live somewhere with average 35% or higher i wld rkn, between 30-60 is comfortable humidity levels. |

RE: Water.....What other ways am I missing?
We live in an aprtment, so if we didnt have this, there is sure no way to stock 300 gallons of water somewhere, and we sure dont have a water well.
Great invention. dnt know what else there is.... |
