OK, you are too funny! The whiskers and eyebrows are genius. If you look at a cats whiskers and 'eyebrows' with the sun behind them that's kind of how they look. They almost don't look real, they are so prominent, and whimsical, at the same time.

Yep! They do! I agree that it is the WHISKA's that make it so cute. I have two cats that I adore. I also have a parrot if anyone is interested. Dwarf "Hahn's" Macaw.. Seriously.. any takers? They only live 60 years.. He only squalks all the time but he does say "here kitty kitty kitty..."

Aha, you are a cat lover, too. LOL, I don't have 60 years left to take care of a parrot.

Speaking of birds, when I walked out on my deck today a hawk went over my head pursuing a mourning dove. He had already caught the dove as I started yelling and stomping my feet to distract him (yes, the neighbors wonder about me sometimes) and the dove actually escaped, minus a chunk of feathers.

I couldn't believe it when I came inside and sat down at my computer. I had bird droppings all over my pants. It was so terrified that it was going to die that it let lose, unfortunately, right on top of me.

I have a bird feeding station, otherwise known as a hawk banquet station, so I see this all the time. My cats also harass and eat songbirds from time to time, usually fledglings. I think that overall the feeding station is a win for the birds, though. And it doesn't upset me as much as it used to.

LOL! Okay.. I have a VERY strong affinity to mourning doves. Just absolutely love them. They mate for life and they are always so close to each other as a pair. (insert compassionate face....). So glad you saved it and only had to do more laundry! THAT my friend is a good day!...
