What do you guys think of this coin on a beauty level scale of 1-100?

That is an opal embedded in the coin. It is a proof with box and coa, mintage of 888 pieces.

Reminds me of my little pony .... For me its far far too busy and isnt a patch on the African series.

Not going to rate it any more than 50 out of 100 for me, its very average artwork and the opal is to me a tacky add on. I'm sure plenty will like it though.

I'm gonna give it an 85 out of 100. It is a little busy. Surprisingly, someone I know who normally doesn't like to buy coins like this almost immediately asked me to buy them one. I was shocked. They really really liked it, lol.

On just looks alone...45. It is a little busy and a little to "fantasy" for my taste. Harbl might like it since he loves My Little Pony..

Of course, it would depend on what it costs as well..Very low mintage so guessing pricey.

Lol, the cost isn't going to increase your score :-p 110 euro + 10 euro shipping so you're looking at $150 a coin. It might be cheaper somewhere else but I am not aware of another place selling it right now. It's on pre order right now and estimated to release mid-may.

Looks like a big thumbs down from our community on this coin. I like it. It isn't my favorite but I still like it.

You must be window shopping. What about this one? Mintage 9000 but it is a 2010 and they still have them... I am not sure I like the square coin.. but I do sort of like the picture.

I'm not crazy about the coin but I am not a big 'fantasy' fan. I have to agree with Honey that the opal looks tacky. I will rate it slightly below this sterling coaster.

Somehow.. I knew you would hate it! I think it is a piece of art on a coin. The image is well balanced and leads your eye from one side to the other. And the best part, there also insn't a jewel for an eyeball...

To me, it has an 'American West' feel to it. I definitely like it better than the Cameroon coin.

long-eared hedgehog actually. The coins started preselling at $130 dollars and are now going for $600 in a matter of a month or two. I missed the boat on these coins sadly, I didn't know they existed until two days ago (tear rolls down cheek)

$600 usd. They started at $130 when places in europe were pre-selling them.

I can see why. The design and detail is incredible. It is on the other coins, too. But the hedgehog is the best, IMO. It is a work of art.

I think it is the WHISKERS... They just flail out every which direction. Must have been some interesting discussion in the R&D room. And...um... wasn't sure what that was between his feet. Didn't make any sense until I knew it was a hedgehog on his back.. Okay... BELLY BUTTON!
