Okay... since no one wanted to tackle that last one... here is another "what am I" question. NO CHEATING...
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I can sizzle like bacon, I am made with an egg, I have plenty of backbone, but lack a good leg, I peel layers like onions, but still remain whole, I can be long, like a flagpole, yet fit in a hole, What am I? |

I have a general knowledge question that hardly anyone has answered properly when I have put it to them...
What was the nationality of Mother Theresa? |

Since I cannot use the internet (by my own designation of this thread).. I am going to guessl.... Italian? I know I am probably wrong... but that was the first thing that came to mind. I assume that is the generally most common guess... so.. Maybe I'll change that to... oh crap.... I'll guess.. Polish? |

RE: Trivia question of the day (CANNOT USE INTERNET )
I know she wasn't an Italian citizen but she was a citizen of the sovereign state of Vatican City. She was born and probably retained citizenship as well in her native country in southern Europe (I can't say which country because I looked it up).

I shall leave the question open for a while longer. I wonder if Victor Kruger knows the answer, (he may be hiding away in his temple).
I always thought she was from India, but no. Did the answer surprise you Honey? In hindsight though, her looks are typical of her birthplace. |

I promised not to cheat...so I can't google it. Can you give me another hint? H |

I am just going to advise everyone to ignore my posts this week. It is the last week of school and it is crazy the amount of things going on! I haven't been able to think with all the activity. It is beginning to show. ![]()

RE: Trivia question of the day (CANNOT USE INTERNET )
Not bad Shimmy, (that does seem to be your new name and I am running with it). She was actually Albanian, but I would not dispute that she was born in Macedonia as there are sizeable Albanian communities in some of the neighbouring countries, especially Kosovo. And besides the borders in that region have changed a lot over the years. Where's the next question then?
