This is an interesting mini film talking about the wise use of credit. This is truly from a different age than today!

You post some really great old videos, Chronic. Videos I would never find on my own. And that are eminently relevant to today. Thanks!

I think there are a few ppl watching and others will find them later no doubt. I find things that are interesting in them even though in most of the films things are done quite differently now adays. Sometimes you can see through the propaganda that is apart of them. In others i like checking out the buildings, the machinery, and the homely looking people etc. I think you must have been born into a great era. ![]() I've got some others i'll be posting here in a few minutes. Enjoy! |

RE: The wise use of credit 1940
Okay...the funny thing was..
1. Mr. Money was the wise "banker" that they came to for answers.. (I just argued today with my crappy bank about how stupid they are to charge my business fees... when they have my money that they can then loan out at astronomical fractions... to others, make interest and charge stupid fee on those accounts. arrgg.) ![]() 2. The TV that Mr. Money was showng them "clips" on looked remarkably like an ipad screen.. ![]() ![]() 3. Judy doesn't stand a chance at a 70% off sale at Macys. Johnny doesn't either. 4. No one had apparently seen this video back then since credit card debt is astronomical. 5. Johnny and Judy had $30.00 left over each month that they could spend on "non-essentials". Today that would be a dinner out at Taco Bell. There is just so much to see in this video.... H |
