The filth of fiat
I was just reading a page from a book called IT AIN'T GONNA HAPPEN. A Return to truth by a friend of Medjugorje.
the author points out that money passes through the clean suit and tie man, to the street vendor, to the garbage man, even to the beggar. "you don't want to touch the bathroom door handle when you come out of public bathrooms. Yet we all take money as exchange from the one who just came out of the bathroom who didn't wash, who touched the handle and who gives out of his hand your change." the author goes on to explain that God had it all figured out because of silvers antibacterial qualities silver can not be a host for germs.

I don't know/think I've ever thought of it like this but the thought has occured to me about the filth/germs fiat money possibly could have. It was just a passing thought though. You just spelled it out more clear and now I don't know what to do.....Confused

You have a point about silvers use as money and it's antibacterial properties....but what about gold...it doesn't have the antibacterial properties of silver and has also historically been used as money...and gold was also created by God. So gold is potentially the same as fiat currency as far as germs/bacteria goes.

Silversaver - That's a great insight!

Mark, it's nice to see you back! It occurs to me that since gold typically sits in vaults it doesn't need to be antibacterial. Silver has always been the metal of commerce, so it does. Isn't the Lord awesome?!
