The Secret of OZ...
If you haven't seen this.. watch.. L. Frank Baum (who wrote The Wizard of Oz) was opposed to the Federal Reserve and so the story is deep in symbolizm and meaning. Silver is liquidity and money. This video lays out the symbolism in the movie..

Give it 10 minutes... please... (I bet you won't quit watching..)

I just assume you all have seen this.. but apparenlty not. Smile I shouldn't assume anything.

PS.. there will be a quiz on Monday.. (teasing)..

RE: The Secret of OZ...
It really lays everything out very well. Great documentary. This should be required viewing for all high school students.

RE: The Secret of OZ...
Ok, so lets say the story is true. How can we get the people and Not the Wicked Witch (Banksters) from blocking it at every turn and to wake up and realize that they have had the power this whole time to take back their sound monetary system in their silver slippers (the coinage). Kill the FED! Smile

RE: The Secret of OZ...
That video freaked me out a little. I had always heard we wanted to go back to a gold standard. That video was anti-gold standard and indicated we could solve our problem by simply having government directly print non debt based money but still fiat. According to this video silver and gold are irrelevant and would have zero monetary value. How is this good?

The Rothschildes got rich by loaning Governments and Kings etc Gold. Under any metals standard those that control the supply hold the true power.

I guess one way around it is the nationalisation of Gold/Silver minign and production. It is easier to just use a non-debt based fiat system though issued by the Government and just have precious metals and other assets as a "failsafe" measure if things ever go wrong.

And for those that are interested in the above Topic Max Keizer did an excellent interview w/Bill Sill. Very much worth a view.

And so did Adam vs the Man on Russia Today.

RE: The Secret of OZ...
It is good to see he is still into silver in his 401K, to the tune of 80% - that must be on fundamentals. I wondering if we have it all wrong and we are headed for depression and silver might not be the shield or bullet we think it is? The video truly is disturbing.

RE: The Secret of OZ...
ron paul wants competing currency's which one of them can be backed by gold. Gold currency by its self won't work as i understand.

They are irrelevant, its just a metal that we dig up and put it back under the ground in some building. Silver is special do, thats why i am happy to hold it, even if its not going to be used as money, its still has huge industrial demand.

Bill Still has a good point, but fiat will always will be abused to the max, governments like wars, spending, creating useless job..... . wait in till our currency the us dollar with all its derivatives will blow up in every once face. if that happens, fiat currency will be feared. because i do think its going to be extremely painful. and people will want a solution, gold is one of them.
