The Road To Roota
For those who need a little background information.

I have to admit that I am HIGHLY skeptical of this theory (but I admit it's a little fascinating). Prove me wrong Big Grin

I wish I could prove you wong, it just seems like the epitome of unfounded "theory" based on a scant evidence (fed comic) and old magazine/newspaper article.

Greenspan the good guy
Massive gold in the grand canyon

It would be nice, as it implies that the good guys are in control.

I do believe there is a "conspiracy" to return to a gold standard, I just don't believe it's being done by the good guys.

Its wishful thinking, there is no knight in shinning armour, the system will collapse under its own weight all you can do is prepare for it as best you can.

The people who cast the votes decide nothing. The people who count the votes decide everything. Joseph Stalin

There is more than one faction of "them". Bix has said RP would win from early on, and he is becoming more credible by the day. I still am on the fence, but I don't by any means count him out. Someone is letting the little guy stack very cheaply, you and me. Is that by design? Something to think about.

I think people want to believe in RTR theory because it implies that there is hope. I am of the opinion that evil men do control things and the system will collapse, therefore no knights in shining armour and no Ron Paul win. I would love to be wrong though.

hmmmm that benarke and greenspan are the good guys and that they have conspired to consume the world resourse as long as the world will take our fiat paper for them, all the while making our resources off limits so it can be stored for future generations... you mean that one????

RE: The Road To Roota
I disagree that the "government" or the "representatives" will pull this mess together. The "haves" will be those with precious metals. As far as anything changing it would have to be our Military strangely enough. They will crack to the good side because they enjoy WINNING once in awhile. I saw Ron Paul when he came to town but this "regime" will scotch that. This is a "regime" not a government and until "we" see that nothing will fly. All those in the military should have their pee-pee wacked. "All enemies foreign or domestic." The monetary system must collapse but I doubt the normal person will say enough and still hang on to their confederate dollar. Properties will never get a clear title. Pensions will be worthless. I think a job on the suicide hot line would be a steady job. Keep Stacking. Your "government" isn't just going to issue it to you.

RE: The Road To Roota
I think the road to roota is a wonderful theory. One could only hope that some form of it will happen. I would have to wonder if the O's speech the other night was for real, Using Algae as fuel.. lol.. And dad always did say Stack Silver that one day it would be worth a fortune. Rolleyes

Like to believe in the good guy theory, but where there is a lot of money there is not a lot of morality...Something to be said about money being the root of all evil...

What about Ben Still's argument that returning to the gold standard will only continue to benefit the wealthy and powerful?

RE: The Road To Roota
Road to Roota is the last possible form of positive thinking in a world that is visibly going down the tubes. Does that make it realistic or probable? Not really. Is it possible that it's true? Sure. It can neither be proven or disproven. It relies on circumstantial evidence and tangential relations to known truths. At any rate, I would disagree with putting my trust in any "good guys" and still rely on myself to change what I can change about the world. No "heroes" have ever really panned out for us.
