The "Fondlings"
This is my current fave...since it seems the govt. is taking away all the rights and liberties of the people.

They'll have a bit of trouble removing a certain one that Americans cherish.

"White Stallion".....nanananananananananananananana!

I traded a dumpy 50 oz brick quite a few years ago when silver was stuck in the single digits.

This guy wanted the bar to give to his Dad....he said it was from the mine that his Dad had worked at for many years (Sunshine Mine)

He gave me 1 oz rounds and bars for trade. These 8 "proof" Pegasus rounds were amongst the booty. Pegasus has a bad rep in Montana....and went "belly up"....leaving their mining mess cleanup to be a burden on the Montana taxpayers. I think it got 'superfunded' out to the winner of the govt. contract to deal with the cleanup.

The rounds cover 5 different years and show the particular mining operations on the back.

I don't know if the collection is complete...but I have a few duplicates to trade with if there's a few more years out there.

RE: The "Fondlings"
What a real "C Note" should look like. I think Ben Franklin would rather have his image on silver...rather than paper.

There's a bunch of years with Ben Franklin....but I thought the graphics and his "likeness" looked best in the 2001 offering. It's too bad it's polluted with Larry Summers name...who left 20 days after New Years. I would've liked to have had Paul O'Neill's name on the 4 ounce note....since he was "runn oft" for blowin' the whistle on how the govt.(turned out he was right....I doubt they'll issue any apology) was throwing fiscal responsibility out the window. Very similar to how Brooksley Born was "runn oft" by the fiat parasites and money masters.

Hey AgShaman, where did you get the C-Note Ag bars from? Those are quite amazing! I would love to add some of those to the stack. Peace.

A couple years back when silver was a bit cheaper...around 15-20 bucks I think...I cured some boredom with some shopping on E-bay. Don't know why I did it. I just bid 5-7% premium way early on a bunch of products and never looked back. Just really having more fun window shopping than anything and perusing from silver piece to silver piece placing my bid....way before the end of the auction. I won a bunch of items...and tried to put odd prices/numbers on my bids....guess people probably thought I was wacko or something...and moved on maybe due to the "cuckoo" factor. I have some pieces as a result....some of them I really like....alot of them I have no idea why I bought....except for the silver content I guess. I have one that has Dale Sr. and Dale Jr. side by side...with a car I think....sheesh. I don't even watch or follow Nascar. I think a portion of the items I'll be moving on Craig's list after silver makes a new high....just to maybe feed the frenzy perhaps.

I just have the one "c-note" Ben Franklin....it's a 4 oz'er. They made them in alot of years from the Franklin Mint I think...commemoratives...with other denominations as well and different presidents. Anyways....be careful on the Ben Franklins...I think there's more bad looking years in the series than good looking ones....Caveat Emptor.

Peace.....right back to you!

RE: The "Fondlings"
Another 4 oz. "trinket" from E-bay. Many of the people selling on e-bay don't know about PM's....so they 'finger' them up....then try to polish them later....and end up scratching them. Alot of what I've bought on e-bay in the past is this way. Makes me laugh thinking about the dilemma they have come up with....brought about due to a lack of critical thought. Still....interesting items can be had for low premiums....at least that's how it was a few years back....I haven't shopped there in quite some time.
