Silver sweepstakes-Amazing perspective!
Dear Brother John,
First of all I really appreciate your work and have been following you for some time now. I found you through a You tube Video as I was learning what I could about Silver and trying to justify my continuing purchases. I first started buying silver Bars, Maple leafs and silver Eagles back in the late 90's. I gave most of them away trying to teach people the value of real money. Many people think I'm crazy or have no clue what I'm talking about when I tell them about the value of silver and the importance of stacking. Case in point I've told many people about the silver sweepstakes and encouraged them to join. I've referred several of my family and friends to your site and the sweepstakes and had many of them join. However there have been many others who thought there was some "catch" or just didn't think it worth there time to learn about silver or get a free ounce. countless millions of people went out and bought lottery tickets with a ice cubes chance on the sun of winning. All with a virtually non existent chance of winning some potentially worthless paper. If I won I would buy as much silver as possible and then have the happy problem of figuring out where to store it. Back to the main point, in this sweepstakes there are amazing odds (1 in 100) at winning something of real value, not only monetarily but silver could save your life in an emergency with it's it's antimicrobial properties. If you tell someone you are going to buy a lottery ticket they think it's a smart thing to do and normal but when I tell them about a real chance to buy something intrinsically invaluable (or win it for that matter) they look at you like you are crazy. People's thinking is upside down. Do you think this lack of insight into silver's value is why this sweepstakes is taking so doggone long to get to 401? Or is it because you only had it on the front page of your blog for 1 day? I tend to think it's a combination as your first sweepstakes hit 400 in about a week. Are you leaving it in the background to see that only the real committed and interested folks find it in the forum? I'm a middle aged man who is going back to school to become a chiropractor and many of these Iphone yielding techno junkies that I go to school with could sign up to get free silver in just a few seconds on their portable internet portals. Yet they don't even ask me how they would go about getting the shiny stuff for free (none the less stacking). It is perplexing and concerning the lack of understanding and interest by the majority of folks about true value. Finally I must admit part of the reason I brought this up is self interest. I'm hoping you will put the sweepstakes back up on the front page of your blog so that it ends soon and I win! (At least I'm honest) Also I was interested in what you had to say about this subject. Finally I wanted to thank you again for your commitment to spreading the good word about silver I visit your blog most days. Your Friend and ally, Mage
