Silver and Worship

Hi john, I am an American Muslim and in our faith dealing with gold and silver as money is considered a form of worship, last year I was surprised to see that people were giving silver in a fundraising event. It’s an obligation for every Muslim to go to the Friday ceremony. More and more Muslim Imams (clerks) are educating the public about the sunnah money dinar and dirham (gold and silver).
Let’s imagine that the message of buying silver reaches every Muslim in America and according to the Pew Research Center there are 2.6 Million Muslims in America as of 2010 and 2 billion as of 2011/2012. If 7% of Muslims worldwide buy an ounce of silver, that would be more than what’s mined each year. What’s your thought on this?
