**SILVER ALERT!!**

BOOM!!! Silver not only smashed through the $36 barrier but the $37 mark in the space of 2 hours. Does anybody have some positive information as to why this may of occured. Gold increased also but not nearly as much as silver.

Big smiles indeed! I'm secretly hoping for one last smackdown, but I doubt if it happens it'll take us anywhere near $30/oz....it would appear a run to $39 is likely =)

The question is not why it shot up so high today, but what took it so long! Silver is still completely undervauled. I am a little bummed as I was hoping for another buying opportunity. Given the look of the dollar chart, I am guessing there will be an attempted smack down on Silver, but I don't think it will suffer that much. A nice smackdown just means a very nice rise back up. Fundamentals haven't changed.

Over the next few weeks I think we will hit the $40.00 - $42.00 range before the "smackdown" of technical selling and manipulation brings us back for another buying opportunity. After that, all bets are off. If you plan to hold long term like me $37.00 is cheap; IMO might as well buy Ag now rather than wait and hope to catch the dip. Like you said, fundamentals definitely haven't changed.

Good Point. I would agree that it is still undervalued and has a long way to go. I am not buying it to "sell" in the future anyway. Not really trying to make a buck at all, just trying to hold on to my investments.

The amount of silver consumed and stacked increases at an increasing rate.

There is a finite amount of physical silver.

They can mess with the ride but there is nothing anyone can do about the mathematical inevitability of scarcity.

I agree with general silvers statement.However we love ag so much that we let our enthusiasm get in the way of cold hard facts.Im guilty just as much as anyone.I just bought a load of moose at $40 just to watch it go down about $3.Its ok though I like the coins and its adding to the stack.But I wont get suckered in again if silver moves up a few dollars.The big move that we all are waiting for will be the result of a huge event.Will silver dip to $30 again?I dont think so.Will it hit $50 or more this year?it seems likely.No one really knows.For myself I am buying on the dips like today and putting aside a large pile of cash for good deals and larger dips.
