PreciousMetalHouse or Gainsville??

My mate and I are purchasing a few hundred ounces of 1oz Canadian Moose in 24 hours time before the stock market opens and we are undecided on which company to buy from. He thinks we can get a better deal with PreciousMetalHouse in regards to price and shipping to Australia but is uncertain of its reputation.

Would just like to ask the public if they have any experience with either Gainsville or PreciousMetalHouse and how effective they were in regards to price, time on delivery, coin quality etc.

I've ordered from Gainesville several times and have never had any issues. They are who I recommend to friends and family.

I haven't heard of Precious Metal House. I have ordered from Gainesville and will order from them more. That doesn't mean the other company isn't good though. I find out about new sites to buy metal from all the time on this forum and elsewhere. Best advice is to do a little research on both companies prices, etc., before buying.

i use gainesville myself! they are great and i have never had a problem with them but the main reason i use them is because i opened a vault storage account and can save on all that shipping and handling! they just walk the coin over to the vault... and i have bought as little as 1 ASE at the time during a tight money week!!! other weeks i buy 2, 3 or 10 according to how much dirty strips of paper i have to trade with!!!!

I think most people will not have heard of the Precious Metal House since it is Canadian. I prefer silvergoldbull.com it is also Canadian and is a little more well known.

I agree. SGB has very good customer service. I have picked up from PMH, which was basically meeting a guy in a parking lot. I have read that they are very poor with their communications when ordering for delivery.

I get e mails from both of them.When its buying time I would choose gainsville because I am familiar with us laws and mailing systems.Except for the royal mint,I have never bought from an international seller.That being said if the price has even a $1 difference and I'm buying in weight,I would go for the cheaper one.

Gainesville's price is very competitive. Shippings sometimes take a little bit longer. Just my 2 cents

Provident Metals has for me, been the most competitive price wise. If your paying by check nobody beats the price. If you include the cost of a wire transfer with the other dealers. Before you place another order, go to Provident and compare with Gainesville which is usually the closest in price.

gainsville is the only place i buy. plus they are not to far away from me, if i want to unload. like thats going to happen any time soon

I have heard good things about PreciousMetalsHouse. They have become a player in Canada over the past year or so.
