Yes it is. There is a limit of 3 "spam" attempts, and it bans you. I will unban him, thank you for brinigng this to my attention.

I have unbanned him. I will continue to monitor this spam bot, don't know why it has picked up so much the last 2-3 days,

Shiver me Timbers! They made me walk the plank! Arrrggghh!I Tried posting my UK Tube price Update which took me some time to prepare as soon as I posted I got slapped with a ban.
A tad frustrating as the prices have changed a bit so I'll have to do another Tube price Update. It must be to do with the numerous links I have in my post. Please advise me if there are any limitations on posting links etc

I saw the post, and I would quantify it as spam as well.

I can't tell you "how many links" will trigger it. Your last post, looked a lot like spam to me though. Just being 100% honest.

Ok so what would you recommend is the best method of advising people of Silver Deals, just leave out the links? I can see where your coming from but i'm listing deals and not advertising although essentially it is advertising.
If there's a problem with me listing prices etc then say so I'm not in any way affiliated with any companies I've endeavoured to be unbiased.
If I made a video of me searching sites and showing the said prices just like brotherjohn does in his videos and posted it in video forum would that constitute as Spam? I'm just emulating what has been done by others but for UK market.
I'm not fussed about the ban.
If you don't want me posting prices etc just let me know it was taking up alot of my time researching and posting them anyway thought that's what the 'Silver Deals' Forum was meant for.

1. I would drop the large list of links at the end
2. I would drop the prices as well, that is a common spam theme "Buy "product" for x dollars <link>"

I would think those two may trigger it, then again, had you not used the large set of links in the bottom, after posting them in the body, it may have not marked it as spam. This is a common plugin across Wordpress and MyBB, called Akismet, so you it is designed to prevent Comment Spam on Wordpress, and Forum Spam on MyBB.

Try posting it again, without all the links in the bottom, if you get banned, I will unban you. I would like to see what triggers this just as much as anyone. Also make sure you thread title, is something sane, and not all caps either

Like I said. I don't know if it is a 100% guarentee. It may be some trial and error. I will keep checking to see if you got banned

If you want an example of the spam posts you arent seeing on this forum ,read silvergoldsilver's forum for a few days, you'll see em. Ps, i don't advise reading that forum, it died. He got a new website and then i think got bored and stopped really trying. Pity, i loved his silver bears videos.
