Pigs - Now an Invasive Species?

While I know some pigs (Wild Boars) are invasive species, I don't see how a farmer raising traditional pigs, is illegal, or how that species of pig is invasive.

My family raised pigs, cows, chickens, etc... and I have never seen something like this.

Government glad to give a helping hand.

I went hunting 2 years ago in Manitoba, Canada, and reading the regulations I was quite surprised to hear there was no regulations for hunting feral pigs.

Feral pigs that interbreed with wild hogs are evidently a huge problem though. They ravage the local environment.

Ironic for all the neo-environmentalists who believe human beings to be a scourge on the planet when pigs themselves can totally and utterly destroy an eco-system.

To the OP though, it's pretty disgusting that the government would come in and effectively incriminate and destroy a small business owners property without compensation.

Really shows what kind of totalitarian state the US (and unfortunately, most of the developed world) is becoming.
