Could you explain what you mean by "get a Kook for free shipping"?

RE: Perth mint May releases
first order from perth mint has free shipping. After that, orders over 300 are free shipping. So he's talking about adding a coin to bump over the $300 mark.

RE: Perth mint May releases
they have to keep the mintages down though, NOTHING over 5k, if the perth mint cant sell out a coin in a month its overminted, because with exception of that platinum koala they made a while back that looked like a turd, all things perth are quality..

RE: Perth mint May releases
well, I can almost guarantee that the high relief kookaburra isn't going to be a 5k mintage because I spoke to a rep at the paradise mint, who is the exclusive north american distributor for the high relief kookaburra and he said they have 5,000 of them which they'll start listing around the second week of may. So it looks like we're looking at a 7500-10,000 mintage on this one.
Honestly, I'm not sure the 5k mintage thing really applies in a vacuum. Demand plays a huge part and the market is getting bigger for this stuff. The high relief dragon sold out in less than a day and it was, what, 7500? Your bumble bee that you like was a 10k mintage and it sold out in minutes. Sometimes coins simply take on a life of their own, despite mintage. I think the HR kook is gonna be one of those. I just hope it isn't a one per customer limit, lol Assumptions are the most dangerous things in the universe. |

RE: Perth mint May releases
I'm curious about the marilyn coin..depends what it looks like
Same deal with the chinese dragon. The red welsh is doing extremely well, but it was the first in the series and those usually do better. Depends what the chinese dragon looks like I'm really excited about the HR kook. I think it's gonna be one of the must have kook coins. Assumptions are the most dangerous things in the universe. |

I'm also interested in the cutty sark IF IT LOOKS GOOD. That series has been a pretty epic fail ever since the Santa Maria. I still hold out hope that the cutty sark will look as good though :-p

RE: Perth mint May releases
My guess is around the same price as the hr dragon, so 100-110 us dollars. I paid 107 each for the hr dragon. I will be getting as many as i can afford, to flip. Might keep one if i actually like the coin. I wasn't a huge fan of the hr dragon as it was too small to appreciate the design. That didn't stop it from earning me a sweet profit though.

RE: Perth mint May releases
I like the thickness of the coin, but that makes the diameter so small that the design is way smaller than even a 1/2 oz normal dragon! They need to make the high relief coins 2oz imo.

RE: Perth mint May releases
Hi BJF Community:
I'm a 20 year old University student trying to make ends meet while stacking as much silver as possible. As you can see from my username, I started my own website documenting everything I have learned about stacking physical silver and became an affiliate for the Perth Mint. I do my very best in trying to promote my affiliate link and the newly released coins on YouTube and other places but I thought I'd just openly ask the BJF community to help me out since I'm sure many will be ordering anyways. My affiliate link to Perth Mint is on my website. All it takes is one click and every dollar I make from referring sales I put right into bullion so in a way you are supporting the cause. I have been one of the most loyal BrotherJohnF supporters on YouTube have have watched every single video of his for the past year and a half. Thank you all in advance. -Ryan from Silver2012.com P.s.
