Based on words alone. Nothing overly exciting for me in August.

Would be nice to see a 1oz available. Hopefully it is a good looking coin, that they don't slap a bunch of color on and ruin it.

You guys have to be crazy if the Opal Wombat doesn't sound appealing to you. The Opal series is one of my favourites and the resale value reflects this!!

It doesn't because of how UGLY the 2012 Koala Opal was.

Nothing appealing about this thing

Those Opals are ugly as sin.

I wanted to be an ugly opal koala troll too but then I gots to liking it a bit and I can see how these coins might become very collectible in the future. Like shimmy, I normally like my silver coins plain, no colour, just silver.
Each one of these opal coins is unique so some will be better than others. I wonder if they will do an opal kook?
Yes, the wombat coin is a definite miss. Genuine 24 carat cack.

RE: PERTH MINT AUGUST RELEASES!
Haha looks like a skunk, good one. Honestly after seeing the picture I'm a lot less interested in the Opal now. The Koala on the other hand is honestly such a nice coin. I will not be missing out on the Dragons of Legend though, that's for sure! Also where do you guys find the images of the upcoming coin releases?

I would also like to know! These are renditions and not actual pictures of the coins. I can't wait to see an actual picture of these. The Koala isn't THAT bad and may be beautiful in person... but that Wombat rendition is horrible.

LLLLLOOOOOLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!

That is just bad - I would not drop a dime for it! But some people start a set and they need every piece. I feel sorry for them! When it gets this bad they need to give it up!

I would agree. I bet the Kook is coming, but if it is as ugly as the other Opal's then....

That is on the Perth Mint's homepage in the slideshow (slide 5). When I click on it, I get a broken link, but you can see the coin in the image. Why some dude (not wearing any kind of soccer uniform I recognize) is in front of a map of Australia I have no idea.
