RE: Opinions on 1KG coins
I have one of each, kook, koala and dragon. Personally I think they are the best and biggest coin out there. The detail on them are unmatched, and they are also a great way to hold that much silver. If everything remains solid for a few years you can pick up a nice premium on them if you wanted to cash them in. If you are thinking about getting one and debating to get it or not, I say get it! They are massive in your hand, they are not that bad when it comes to the price.

That's what I was thinking as they are cheaper to buy one of than it is to buy in single ounces.

RE: Opinions on 1KG coins
But how about if things go really well, will it be hard to shift 1KG or several 1 ounces?

RE: Opinions on 1KG coins
I think there will be avenues for all aspects. 1oz will be easy to move for sure, but lets say your in a situation and somebody wants to deal in kg, it would be easier then to have a 1kg coin instead of 32 1oz coins and find some fractional coins or something of the sort or have to give up another 1oz to make the difference. Diversify.

RE: Opinions on 1KG coins
It is about diversifying your stack. I mean seriously if you have a lot of silver in 1oz coins it takes up a lot of space, goin big you can fit more silver in less space. 1kg coins take up way less space than 32 1oz coins.

You could go for the 10kg coins :-p

RE: Opinions on 1KG coins
I have some kilo bars & they stack even easier. kilo coins are ok but prefer to have coins in smaller size, far more flexible than trying to shift a kilo coin, especially when prices rise.

RE: Opinions on 1KG coins
I think they're cool. I don't own any (yet), I buy tubes of 1 oz coins.

From a numis perspective I think the 1 ouncers are a better play and the generic large bars for "bang for the buck". If I do get a Kg coin it will be a Perth Mint product.

RE: Opinions on 1KG coins
To me it seems if you are going to stack at some point 1oz coins just start to consumer lot of space. The 1kg is practical, and they look great as well. Plus when you hold one in your hand you just want to get more.

I highly recommend them. They are beautiful and you feel like a king holding one. The 2012 kookaburra is a really nice design
