New Series Released - Mape Shaped Coin Series & 5oz Dragon

The new Map Shaped Coin Series is the top seller for the week at the mint. Also the Year of the Dragon 5oz design is the first of it's kind. I believe these two products are going to have very pleasing resale values on eBay & I will be a buyer. What are your thoughts? Click here to check them out!.

The only one that I would purchase would be the 5oz dragon.. and it would depend on the price. I am not a fan of the "map" shaped ones but that is just my opinion. Others on Ebay may love them!

Considering you are pimping your own site in which you sell these, I will take it with a grain of salt.

Everyone has their own tastes...I find it extremely ugly. I don't like colorized coins to begin with. Now shape it like a country....giant fail in my book.

Also for anyone buying them....I just tried to order 1k of them, and it is above their current stock. It gave me 189 of them. So I would assume, that is how many are left.

What they are listed for, and what they will sell for are two completely different things.

I could list my 1oz maples for 500 bucks, does it mean they are worth that? Only if some moran is wiling to pay that price for them. Hence my problem with Numi's. It is completely subjective to someone's tastes and likes. The coin is already 60 dollars over spot to being with. You're hoping someone really likes it, and is now willing to pay 120 dollars over spot. Lots of hope/chance, when you could just buy 1oz rounds.

Well.. I for one am extremely interested in knowing if people actually "pay" that price for it. I agree that the list price and the actual sell price are not one and the same.

I can also agree that there are people out there that may like this coin/series. If you sell coins on ebay then I am sure you have a much better idea of what people like than I would.. It isn't my cup of tea.. but I am sure someone will drink it. Elvis on Velvet and "Dogs Playng Poker" where a big hit for a lot of years..

What is the point of your website? I see you get paid for clickthroughs from the Perth Mint Site, as you have a referal ID on every click.
