The Northwest Territorial Mint is offering a special on "in house" silver products @ .65 cents over spot.

They have some nice looking rounds and bars....I may take advantage of this sale going on thru April 20th.

Disclaimer: Last time I bought from them was during the 2008 crash from $21....down to $8-9...and it took 4 months to deliver my silver. Just so you know....they are not anywhere close to the delivery times of the other online dealers.

RE: NWTM
Everything I have ever heard about them is that they take a long time to deliver. But the prices are low. It's a gamble...

RE: NWTM
I just received last week 100 Morgans I ordered from them in December when it dropped to $28... I am very unhappy with the turn around time, but I did finally receive them. I have thought about just driving up to their Federal Way, WA store for bullion...

RE: NWTM
Their "ask" spot price is 10 cents higher than on Kitco.

To me that means their 65 cents is really 75 cents over. Angry

All the sites are guilty of this sin one time or another.. Some more than others(i'll admit my favorite dealer, gainesvillecoins, often has spot 5-10 cents higher than netdania

RE: NWTM
I know they're all a bit different but the 31.70 seems a bit high compared to the others. In the bigger picture .10 shouldn't make or break a deal but it's something to be aware of.

Overall not a bad price I just wished they're spot wasn't .10 higher than the rest because I'd be all over these. I may still depending on what happens Monday (Tue lower margin requirements).

Current ask prices
31.53 goldmart

31.55 apmex

31.60 Kitco

31.60 Gainesville

31.60 Provident Metals

31.70 NWT Sad

RE: NWTM
when silver reaches 500 bucks an oz are you going to look back at a particular oz of silver that is marked for life because you paid 31.70 for it instead of 31.60? are you buying 10 monster box's??? if you are only buying one or two coins or even a roll does it really matter?

RE: NWTM
No, but if you can get it for the same price at gainesvillecoins without a 3 month wait...because nwtm is charging too much for spot...then what's the point of buying it from nwtm :-p

i do not know, i have gotten all my coins from gainesville for the last 3 months. i have even opened and secure storage, i take one day a month of and drive to their showroom and pay cash for the coins thereby saving the credit card charge and the 19.95 shipping every time i order... instead of worrying about a dime!
it was the shipping and handling i saw as eating me alive, every 2nd order i could buy another coin with just the shipping and handling charges!

I'm not debating, just providing information. Smile

It's also something to consider if two sites are selling the same product for the same price but one may actually be a bit less. I'm not loyal to any one online company, I look at each to see who's providing the best price. I still think .75 over is a great deal for one ounce generics.

You can't get this silver at the other online dealers....for any price...as far as I know.

The deal/special going on is for their signature bullion. So if you don't like the look of the Pan Americans...or the Stagecoach silver...then it makes no difference.

As for myself....I like the look of the Stagecoach 1 ozers...with the scored backs....more of a novelty concept at this point, but it's an interesting feature that one other private mint has come forward to duplicate the scored back design on another "in house" offering.

All in all....good shine quality for the price. I don't appreciate the long wait....but if it's goin in your stack to collect dust...and you're not flipping them on ebay...then perhaps the wait is not as extreme as perceived.

As far as the 10 cents mis-marking of spot prices....hardly an issue, considering their shipping is free in the lower 48 states of USA. I don't think the 10 bucks on a 100 ounce order is gonna break somebody's bank.
