Hi Brother John
Recently one of my muslim work colleagues said to me that the Bible has lost a lot of its original meaning as it has been wrongly translated over the centuries.
I know this is wrong but not sure exactly why. How should I counter this allegation in future? I apologise for adding to your workload.

Ps 12:7 says that God will preserve his words to every generation.

Now either he is God and has done so or he is not and has not.

Muslims are taught only certain verses are in error they are not allowed to read the Bible let alone have one. Only the Imam is allowed to teach them and it is always the Bible is in error.

So it is up to you to find the one preserved Bible in our language today.

To counter tell him that God promised to preserve his words and he has but not in every Bible there is only one in the language of the last days English the AV.

you know what gets me is no one considers Gods character and power in preserving his word.

99% of Islamist are without a clue when it comes to the word of God and true Biblical Christianity. Their idea of Christianity is actually that of Roman Catholicism.

You can't educate them unless they are seeking truth otherwise all there doing is trying to convert you to their religion.

Once their offer to you to come to their religion has been fully rejected you are worthy only of death.
