dont believe everything you hear, they were suppose to do it March 8th 2012, never happened. People are coming out with everything in times like these, take it with a grain of salt. I will post on the 31st.

I have a hard time believing this one too. Oh sure they could DOS a few servers, and maybe overwhelm some root name servers but they would most likely be blocked after a few minutes and virtually nothing would happen to the end user. Also, on a Saturday? Why bother when there would be very little commerce to disrupt. Yawn.... Smile

I think that this may very well to be the case! After all the WWIII has already started. Not the bang bang pew pew type of war. It's the informational war that's going on and that shit has no limits. People are getting brainwashed from all sides.Fox, CNBC, Anonymous, RT you name it...

The powers that be are controlling both sides of the opinions. obviously the truth is there somewhere, we just need to dig deep and smart... gotta be aware.

I know for a 100% fact IANA/ICANN is working around the DDOS of the Root-Servers. They are already Anycasted, and have several failovers in place.

I hope it's true. Maybe I could get some stuff done around here rather than wasting my time feeding my addiction on this damned laptop.
Of course, it isn't true...any idiot knows that. Shutting down the internet would mean shutting down everything from power grids to hospitals to traffic control systems....it would mean total world anarchy and countless deaths, and not even anonymous wants that.
