Heart International readers? Pop in and say HI!
I would love to hear from people around the world. Maybe you can answer a few questions or none at all.. I would love to hear from you!

1. What country are you from?
2. What do you like about this forum?
3. What would you like to see on here?
4. What do you like or dislike about the country you live in?
5. What are your ideas on the USA?
6. Add your own question here:???

We may all be in the same boat some day, so it would be nice to reach out and understand a little more about each other. I would love to learn about your country as well. So many questions that I have....healthcare? Taxes? Social customs? Unrest? Concerns??

Thanks! Heart

RE: International readers? Pop in and say HI!
Hi Honey.

1 - Gold Coast, Australia
2 - The freedom of shared information. The fact that thousands of people can freely share their information about the precious metals market, our economy, upcoming events etc etc. The people who keep up to date with these forums are possibly the most educated people in regards to our global economy.
3 - That's a really hard question. Maybe people need to start making more threads more often and getting more active. It's great to hear peoples questions, opinions and concerns. I would rather be reading these forums for an extra hour every day than reading stupid status updates on facebook.
4 - Like: The multiculture. The freedom to do whatever we want. The animals. The fact there is a bullion dealer down the road Wink The people. The beaches. The climate. The pretty fiat money
Dislike: The labor government. The spiders (I'm arachnaphobic). The rising unemployment and debt. The police.
5 - The U.S.A has jumped into a bottomless pit without a rope. The best idea I can suggest is stack gold, stack silver, store food, purchase security ie guns, spread the word, fight for your freedom before you lose it! Oh and regular visits to the BrotherJohnF forums.
6 - Actually I have an interesting question but I'll ask it in a new thread.

Thanks Honey Smile

RE: International readers? Pop in and say HI!
Thanks Kramer!! Austrialia is a place I have always dreamed of visiting someday.

I would agree that there needs to be more threads posted, etc. This forum is really in it's beginning stages and takes time to grow. It has grown so much even from 10 years ago when you couldn't find a site about Silver.

Your input is extremely helpful and thanks for that!! Heart

RE: International readers? Pop in and say HI!
Hi Honey,

1. UK

2. The infomation we can obtain regarding current affairs, BrotherjohnF is always on the ball! Fact that we can ask any questions about Silver etc. As most of us know, as stackers we cant talk to local people or even family without getting a crazy look back at us. This forum feels like a family, me and my partner will be using this forum until the day the world has been reformed and the goverments are exposed!

3. I'm not sure why silver cannot be traded or sold on this forum Honey? I have no interest whatsoever to flip or sell my silver in the near future, just thought it'd be intresting to see what people are flipping and at what prices.

4. I like we have medical care when we need it, I'm not sure if storys are correct, but heard in the usa, people can get turned away if they dont have insurance or funds to pay for upfront treatment.
I hate our goverment! Constantly screwed over by tax and more tax, ohh and more tax, among other things, the whole system needs a clensing!!
Our petrol prices take the piss, we would love to pay USA prices! It's currently £1.46 a litre average over here Huh

5. Just one subject a little different from the UK- USA have alots of guns?. I know its the norm in the USA to hold a firearm but feck, when SHTF, there surly will be more murders, self defence kills etc? It gets scary when you look at the past few years sales of guns, and every tom dick and harry owns one over there. I watched a chris dwane video, that when anti depressents are not getting to the needed, this could cause havoc, among ofcourse the obvious hundred other things that will cause upset.

6. Question, when will Silver go to the moon?!? Smile

RE: International readers? Pop in and say HI!
Thanks Parkster! I love reading these posts!! Very interesting...

Regarding the guns.. You are correct that there are a lot of guns overhere. I think just about everyone that I know has at least one or more and own them legally. It is not the legal gun owners that are the issue, but the criminals that have them that cause the problems. The right to own them is the freedom of each person to protect themselves, their homes and their family. If you take away that right from the legal/lawful people, then only the criminals and the government will have them. You are at an extreme disadvantage if that happens! The founding fathers understood this very well and thus the 2nd amendment. I think it is probably thee most important amendment that we have. If the SHTF.. It won't be your honest gun owners you have to worry about, but the gangs of criminals that will have them unlawfully. They are going to have them... no two ways about it... so I would rather have mine also so at least I stand a chance if they come to my door. If the SHTF..I won't be able to call the police and expect them to come running in time to help us.

Hiya Honey!
Excellent idea for a new thread, I must say.
I lived in Sydney and Melbourne for 18 months and I highly recommend you visit there.
By the way, I am from Stamford Hill, London, UK.
I do wonder how many international citizens will post on this this thread as the silver stacking community seems to be dominated by the yanks.
I do not know any silver stackers personally, but I do know a couple of gold stackers.
Dislikes? The European Union, the fact that we have to do what they tell us to do, that sucks.
I cannot wait for the European project to disintegrate. I want it to die a horrible ghastly death. We are British goddamnit! Also, we're too crowded on this little island of ours.
Likes? I like our sports, 'soccer', rugby, cricket, etc. I like our quaint little customs, our sense of fair play, our history.
We used to rule the waves, we used to own half the world at one time, which is one reason why so many people dislike us. Well, we don't care!
For that reason we will never again be awarded the right to host the 'soccer' world cup, and we will never win the Eurovision song contest again, nul points!
Yes, I do like our history, our traditions and all our silly pageantry. Our fox hunting comes to mind, Tally ho!
Finally, I do like Nigel Farage, leader of the United Kingdom Independance Party, and your very own Ron Paul.
And yet another finally: We had a royal wedding last year, you may have noticed. William got married to the lovely Katie. And we celebrated with all the pomp and majesty that only we come up with. To which one of my African colleagues asked of me, 'what do you get out of it exactly?'.
To which I replied, "joy my friend, joy", and he just shook his head, he didn't get it of course.
Well Honey, I hope you still like me and that you don't think I'm a stuck up English royalist a$$hole.
That's another thing. We're a bit confused as to our identity.
For example, first and foremost I am English, but I am also British. And I come from Great Britain as well as the United Kingdom.
Well, I hope I have imbued upon you some idea of what it means to be British, although I may have exceeded my remit.
And finally, it is a dream of mine to travel all over America one day.

Cointreau,

Awesome reply! It is amazing how much we can learn by reading just one post.

I also don't get the entire "royal wedding" thing...Huh I do love Nigel Farage though!! Of course I don't think you are a stuck up English Royalist A$$hole! Too funny!!

I have visited the UK back when I was 17 years old. My parents lived in Bristol for a year while my father taught Chemistry at the University there. It is completely different over here.

Thanks again for a wonderful response!

RE: International readers? Pop in and say HI!
I lived in Bristol for a while, It's nice there, I'm sure you agree.
Well, here goes another attempt at winding you up.
I am reminded of the 'English Bob' character played by the late Richard Harris in the Unforgiven, which won the Oscar for best film that year.
English Bob, in a conversation with the barber (regarding the assassination of President Garfield) said:
"Well there's a dignity with royalty. A majesty that precludes the likelihood of assassination. If you were to point a pistol at a king or queen your hands would shake as though palsied."
And further, "the sight of royalty would cause you to dismiss all thoughts of bloodshed and you would stand.... how shall I put it? In awe. Now a president.....well I mean.
And boy, do we english get the hollywood treatment. We're always the baddie. Cold blooded, sinister, cut glass accent, pompous, malevolent, wanna take over the world, you name it.
We don't care. We're honey badger.

Hahahaha!!! You're funny!! That's right... you are honey badger..Smile

I still don't get the royalty thing. We don't have any royalty here at all, so it must be a cultural thing.. The closest thing over here would be i suppose the "movie stars"... but you take away the "cloak" and they are no different than anyone else.
