Amazon carries them at DOUBLE the price. What's up with that, anyway? Some things I can get there for less than I would pay locally, and other things are so outrageously priced I would never consider purchasing them there.

The website said they would be back in stock in May. I don't know if I will get one or not, but it may go at the bottom of my list. It is just a very clever idea, imo.

I actually couldn't see the picture of it (ipad...nuff said..) but got a good idea in my head what it looks like. I too have a "bottom of the list" and really need to start pecking at the top of my list!!

How much room does this thing take up as far as storage? I am running out of room! I actually would take my chances on the water in the tub and filter it before using it..

It's basically just a big clear plastic bag that fills a tub. I'd compare it to a really big one of those vacuum sealed plastic bags you use for clothing. Sorta like that. It stores in a fairly small box

It is obviously a good idea as they are sold out! Hunh... could buy a ton of the gallon zip locs...and fill them up and then store them in the shower with the door closed!

I love everything except for the flash issue. I thought that there would be an app for that issue, but I haven't found anything.... Luckily, most of the vids are also on youtube and I can find them there.... just extra work... and ya know how lazy I can be...

What a REALLY love is the Zag Folio case with the keyboard for the Ipad!! That was the best purchase I have made. The keyboard is fantastic and works great!

I had a netbook before I got my ipad. hated it. Too slow and too bulky for my needs/wants. The ipad is just perfect for me. I rarely notice the flash issue anymore and it doesn't bother me at all. It's much less of a problem today than it was at the start. People using ipads is forcing web developers to change(which is exactly what steve jobs argued would happen and it has).

Again... very funny... I know, I know... probably should have been something to know before i jumped in with both feet at the shiny Apple store. All said and done... it cost more than that by the time you walk out. Ya have to get the case, the car plug, etc.... Thanks also for the heads up on the ipad3!! That is the difference between running a full feature OS, and a mobile phone sans phone OS (IOS). If you ran OSX on an iPad, it would be slower than a netbook. Netbooks have sped up though, and I would venture to say my netbook would do 100% of it's tasks faster than your iPad.

I don't think much web development has changed because of Steve Jobs saying he won't support Flash on any of Apple's IOS devices. HTML5, is still not widely used, most media is still delivered via Flash or Silverlight.

The only web developers have done is make mobile versions of sites, as opposed to making a Mobile Browser run the full feature site.

I wouldn't spend 600 bucks on it, I can tell you that for sure. To each their own.

I still dispise Apple many different experiences with their products. Not to mention my Mac Book Pro......2k dollar laptop with 2 USB ports. Their Answer "Buy our $100 dollar Blue Tooth Keyboard, and our $75 Bluetooth Mouse" my response "Fuck you, I am buying a $3 USB hub. And I am pissed I have to spend a dime extra for your laptop that already costs 3 times more than a comparable Dell/IBM/HP/Toshiba"

Then my super drive fails. Has to be shipped to China to replace my Optical Drive...because the Unibody case is SO great. "Don't worry, you will get it back in 3-5 weeks......." So i went without an optical drive for years, because I couldn't afford to be without a laptop for 3-5 weeks.
