Thanks agbear Smile Yes it is a beautiful setting, the view is great and i have some of the oldest trees in the area (can't see them in these pictures) on my property that are like 300 year old Sugar pines. They are huge, about 5 foot around at the base, over 120 feet tall and produce giant pine cones that are as big as 14 inches long and 4 to 5 inches wide. I sometimes sell them on ebay. I got $19.00 once for 1 huge pinecone in an auction around Christmas a few years back. hehe Smile

What are the temps like at that altitude? I would imagine, you guys don't see many days below 0, to get that much snow, even at that altitutde.

What is the closest major hub for jobs, and how far is it?

Well today i'm in Squaw Valley and it must be about 40 degrees but at night it gets below 32. We do get a few days under 0 but most are around 15- 25 or so. we are expecting snow late today and tomorrow. Nearest Hub is Reno, Nv. and i can drive there in about an hour or hop on a plane and be there in 15 minutes. seasonal jobs are plentiful for those that wish to work and then there are the major corps like Microsoft, BFgoodrich, Purina, Porche, starbucks, and many others for the more skilled workers. Nevada has a great tax incentive for businesses and individuals as there is no income tax, less regulation and property taxes are much less then a certain state next next door. Nevada we can buy Full automatic weapons if you go through a BATF background check, takes about 6 months. We can Gamble, Drink and go to brothels 24 hours a day. Not that i know anything about that stuff. Smile

An hour to Reno, not bad. How far to Sacramento? Reno doesn't have a ton of jobs.
