Wow! This baby is incredible. Does anyone know if the teeth marks actually go through the coin or not?

The coin is scheduled for release end of July or Early August. They don't have a price set yet for this.

This particular dealer is setting the price at $89.95 EUR.. however, I received an email directly from Sheryl at the New Zealand Mint and she specifically told me that it will not be released yet until end of July or early August and that they have NOT yet set a price for this coin. She is going to email me when they do. The other sellers are setting a price based on what they think it will be plus a little profit of course..

Sheryl has assured me that she will email me when they have set the sale price. I will follow up with her as well and post it here when I get that information.

Ever since you brought this coin to our attention, I have really been interested in seeing if I can get one of these! I wrote an email to the customer relations person at the NZmint inquiring if they had a release date as of yet. Looks like it's been delayed a little. Here is the email reply I received today:

Thanks for your email.
The Great White Shark will be available late August/September.

Just got an email from the Perth Mint stating that this coin is delayed due to quality issues.

Hey dragonfly in that email I believe I read that the Feng Shui – Koi coin is $139! Is that correct?

I'll definately get more than 1. Not sure just yet how many. I am not a "flipper" so they will all be for me and I also give them out as B-day or Christmas presents to those in my circle that appreciate them. So far this year I have gifted about 10 oz of a variety of coins (Cougar, Moose, Taku, Dragon) and they have been the best presents and truly appreciated. The others who don't "get it" only get gift certificates.. Smile

I do plan on buying them from the mint...

sure can someone work out the options from different sites? lets figure out exactly how many coins and how much it would cost, then the cost to order them seperatly, i just want 1 for my collection, the site has to accept canadian credit cards, and lets see if its worth ordering one batch and what the price would be to ship within canada with insurance and tracking, also we need a site with a good return policy because if these coins arent mint i wont send them to you guys ill be returning them, even from the perth mint i once recieved a coin which arrived with the capsule open..

I looked around for sites to buy this coin. Without a release date it will be hard to get. It sounds like we all want one coin. I have never ordered from the New Zealand mint so don't know how that would go. NP your expertise is what we are going to need - only 5,000 of this coins are going to be minted.
