Going to see Dr. Paul speak tonight

Dr. Paul will be speaking in Anchorage here in about 3 hours. My wife and I are headed down there to watch him speak. Hopefully I can get a picture taken with Dr. Paul tonight.

I bet he reads this website. What if he actually is on the forums, but we don't know who he is? A really good cover would be to say you are "going to see Ron". That would throw people off your tail. KSH: ARE YOU RON PAUL???

Simply amazing. Great support up here in AK for Dr. Paul. We easily packed in about 2-3k people as there was standing room only. Luckily I got there early, and was in the 3rd row back, so got to see him up close. The number of people may seem low, but you have to remember, it is Alaska, and he announced it on Friday night, that he was going to be here on Sunday.

Unforutnately, I wasn't able to get a picture with him or anything, as he only did 1 hour of these. The line was simply too long by the time I got over there. I got some pictures, I am uploading right now, and will post them up.

In person, he is much taller than I expected too. I expected him to be this short, little old man. He is actually pretty tall. My wife really enjoyed it, as she doesn't watch the youtube videos, etc... She enjoyed finally seeing un-edited versions of what he is saying, and I think she is a bigger fan of Ron Paul now than she was before.

The support for him was amazing.

He only had 2 "suits" around him, one on each side of the stage, His wife and granddaughter were also just off stage. What I found amazing, was how into it his wife gets. She was over there nodding in agreement with things, and was clapping just like everyone else. It was just pretty cool, to see someone who has heard what Ron Paul has said thousands of times, still be so into it and so supportive of him.
