RE: Congratulations To Honey and Mojo
Agsilverbear,

Seriously? Only one tick in your life? That is truly amazing! hunh.. I gotta quit camping... I also must be immune to lyme disease or I would have caught it by now.

Our old dog was a huge Collie and we took him camping all the time (before they had the tick treatment oil).. a week later, I was upset because there were milk duds on my brand new carpet. Except they weren't milk duds!!! They were massive, engorged ticks!!!! Kid you not!!! I about moved...

AWWWWW. The size of Milk Duds?! That is truly awful. My only other experience with ticks is on stray cats. A stray tomcat we've been feeding for a couple of years (he is NOT capable of being domesticated, nor does he want it) gets nasty ticks every spring. I give him one treatment of Frontline and that's all it takes. He is a completely feral tomcat (about 10 years old!) but he has come to love me. I can hold him and he presses his head against my face. Sorry, I got off topic.. I love cats. Heart

I'll listen to whoever as long as its not what the MSM wants one to know. With that i then have to figure in whats real and whats entertainment. After that then comes the hours of research or the 15 minutes of popcorn. Smile

Hey Chronic, I hope you didn't drop your stash in the bottom of the lake while you were bugging out. That seems to tragically occur a lot around here. Tongue

AgSB, you love cats? PLEASE take & give my cat a good home. It's like this...nearly 8 years ago, my middle daughter brought home this cat. I said no. She said it is only for 2 weeks while her friend moved. I said no again. She said her friend had already left and she didn't know how to reach her. What could I do? I knew her friend would never be back. Now I like cats...outside cats. This is not an outside cat. She's very sweet, but we have two dogs who aren't really into cats...or each other for that matter, but I digress... (a husky and a rott/pitt mix) so we are constantly yelling at the dogs, "don't eat Mia!" You would really, really love her. She's a mush cat. Pweeeaaaasssseeeeeee Big Grin

Sorry, KYnyts. I have an indoor cat that will not accept any other cats. He was a kitten of a stray female who we fed and brought in to have her kittens (eight of them)! With the help of a neighbor we found homes for all, even mama. But we just had to keep our Piglet. We already had two other cats at the time who Piggy loved , but they have since passed away. It's not possible to have any other indoor pets while Piggy is with us. He's got a jealousy problem.

OMG!! You will not believe what I just found on the floor after I posted that last post. A MILK DUD! I kid you not!! I treated Chloe (our dog) before we went camping, but it must not have worked that well. How incredibly ironic and freaky.... Someone has a sense of humor!! I took pics..

Ii is on it's back and you can see the little legs... GROSS!! I put my pinky up to it on this one...

Whaaahaaahaaa!! I don't want to be the only one having reoccuring milk dud dreams..
What was even worse was that I had to run my hands all over Chloe and "FEEL" for other ticks. She has such thick fur but I didn't feel anything (thank goodness!) but after Piano lessons tonight, she is getting a bath...
