Collaborative Silver Buying

Has anyone thought about putting together a collaborative of people to purchase in quantity in order to get the best prices?

I don't generally get the best prices because I tend to graze. In other words, I buy whenever I have fiat currency I can free up to make a purchase, even if it is only a few coins. Later in the week, I may make another purchase. (I know, I know... I lose a lot of money on shipping, but at least I have it in hand as quickly as possible.)

If 50 people bought just 10 coins each, each would save $1.50 per coin and collectively save $750 on an order of 500 coins. Just thinking out loud...

I have - but the logistics of putting it together is a nightmare, plus I don't have 50 people I trust (or who trust me) enough to give me their name, address, and disclose that we have physical precious metals.

I do have a few friends I get in on orders to save on shipping though.
