Chicago.. restaurants and places to see?

Hi all!

Next week our office is going to Chicago for meetings and we will have some time to kill during the day... and some evenings.. I was hoping to get some recommendations for some really good restaurants (downtown) close to the Gold Coast area. I know there are probably a million of them, so any ideas/experiences would be great! Links would also be nice if you don't mind..(but not required!!)

Also, any sites that you would recommend? I know we were hoping to get to the Shed(?) aquarium, but some nice coin shops would also be interesting!!

If you feel like taking a trip on the L Train, Woodstock, IL is about an hour away, that is where they shot the movie Groundhog Day, you can eat in the diners, etc...

Chicago isn't much of a "Food" city. You generally have to go East Coast, for all the really good food stuff.

You could always do the Sears Tower thing, and the other tourist destinations.
