RE: Buy now or wait?
It sure did crash today. The idea is to possess as much silver as you can afford as soon as you can. When all that is available out there is the overpriced certified and collector coins that will signal the end game, all the physical is bought up the price has to go up then.

RE: Buy now or wait?
Buy on the dips. It's the difference between buying silver at $2.50 or $3.50 or $4.00. If you feel timid buy 1/3 of what you were going to buy on the dips. Like when you are about to get in the pool and the waters to cold so you wait before you submerge your balls. You know you put your toe and then up to your thighs; buy 1/3, then watch the price go up again get comfortable and then gain the courage (Pun intended)
My suggestion; Every major dip, buy. In the words of that annoying machine on Cramer BUy Buy Buy!!

RE: Buy now or wait?
Hers what I do. I buy regardless of the price, but only in small amounts like 5-25 ounces every payday. BUT, I always hold lots of cash waiting for big pullbacks, like the last big one to the upper $20's. I bought close to 500 ounces on that one. With the price over $35, I slow down buying. When I do buy, I ALWAYS buy high dollar stuff like Pandas, Koalas, Rabbits, Moose, Timber Wolf, Grizzly, Cougars, Ron Paul proofs, Takus, Engelhards, etc. Also when silver is high priced, I buy lots of 90%. 1964 Kennedy halves are my favorite. You can't beat Washington quarters either. I like 1964 uncirculated quarters and halves. Morgans and Peace dollars are cool if you can find em at a good price for nice condition common years.

RE: Buy now or wait?
my plan is... at 55 i have 10 or 15 good years left of work, so say i'm wrong... we're all wrong! that little timmy and his buddy ben are genuises and somehow manage to engineer a soft landing and an awesome recover!!! then by the time i get ready to retire i should have a nice lyttle pyle of PM's!!! they keep the price of gold and silver from exploding and we just have another 10 years of the same ol bull market we've had for the last 10 years my pile of 10,000 ounces of silver and 250 ounce of gold might just make for a nice retirement in the south seas somewhere!!! if i'm right (we're right) and it all goes to hell in a handbaske with our currency, that lyttle timmy and his buddy ben aint got a clue... well i'll be ok then too!!!

RE: Buy now or wait?
Buy 1/2 your moneys worth now and see if there is a drop in the fall. With the election coming I am very sure there will be a big smack down in the price. If Greece goes down on March 24th like its suppossed to the price should fall to the ground as the Euro collapses for a short period of time and you can go in with the rest then and dollar cost average.
Good luck |

RE: Buy now or wait?
I buy every paycheck whatever I can comfortably spare. Today after the spike down I went to my local coin shiop and grabbed a couple 2012 kooks and a couple serial numbered 1 oz bars. As long as you only buy what you can afford to spend, and not have to sell, then don't feel bad about how much you paid. Be happy that you have a finite resource that cannot have its value taken away from you by inflation or paper ponzi games. Measure your wealth in ounces, not dollars.
To hold a pen is to be at war. |
