That isn't entirely true. You can still be tracked with ToR, if you don't practice safe browsing habbits and personal security.

If you let Java Script execute, ToR has lots it's security.
If you let Flash Run, ToR has lots it's security.
If you let Active X Run, ToR has lost it's security.
If you let Silverlight Run, ToR has lost it's security.
If you let <insert other web technology outside of html> execute, ToR has lost it's security.

ToR will always be exposed to the first hop, so you could traffic engineer ToR to be insecure, by sniffing the first incoming packets on ToR.

I am big supporter of ToR, trust me. I have been using ToR since it was in Alpha, along with Freenet, which has it's own unique things you need to account for.

What it boils down to is this, if you don't practice your own safe secure browsing, and look at your own security policies, then there is no way to be protected. I don't accept Cookies globally, I accept the ones I want to accept, and reject the ones I don't. I surf with absolutely no, scripts allowed to be run, no Flash, no Java, no Active X, nothing. I run things on a case by case basis. Does it make surfing the net a pain in the ass? 100000% it does. Is it the most secure way to browse? 10000% Absolutely.

Wow.. Just read all of this and feel really bad for Dom.. that he doesn't get it. He was actually a bit rude and insulting which is unfortunate.

I run my own site for my own business and it can be very expensive. I don't personally know John and Ags.. but I am sorry for my own lack of "support" in even the smallest of means. I have never once even donated..

I found the "support" button... Sorry it took so long... I know you are not asking people to pledge, I just personally realized myself that I hadn't. Hopefully this will start a new trend!! Help can come even if you don't ask for it!
