$8,250.00/oz silver!!!!
Just got done reading Bix Weir's article about his argument for $8250/oz silver, and he makes a good point. All I can is say is, that would be amazing and I would definitely like to see it get to that point with out everything else collapsing around it. I am sure we got quite a few millionaires in this forum with that scenario!! I linked the article if you have not read it!

RE: $8,250.00/oz silver!!!!
Interesting discussion point...could the silver manipulation (possible naked short selling, HFT algos, etc) be unwound without causing significant collateral damage?

I have my views, but what does everyone else think?

RE: $8,250.00/oz silver!!!!
lol gotta love bix for the entertainment factor at least. He's one of those fringe nuts that talks and once in a while he will be bang on the money making you go huh ? hmm and than you consider some of his other stuff seriously for a bit then go ... naaaa its just bix then go back to an enjoying read.. until next time.

Id love to write him off but I cant for those moments he has yet I also cant do anything other than giggle at $8,250 silver. Not because the maths dont work because in a simple way they do but its not going to happen just by bringing down JPM, no way

Things that are x5 scarcer does not mean x5 more expensive. It just dosn't, unfortunately.

I will however promise that if there is a way of getting millions or even less to go out and purchase some silver on the premise of $8,250 I will take part with gusto.

Voluntarily bashes gold or silver BS when seen or heard .... for free

RE: $8,250.00/oz silver!!!!
hummmm well i hear that most electronic devices like phones and laptops contain about 1/2 a gram of silver....... so with a troy ounce weighing 31.1034768 grams that would make 62.2069536 1/2 grams in a troy ounce...... so 1/2 a gram would cost $8250/62.2069536= .......... $132.62 ......could the electronics industry suffer this?? i very much doubt it, at that kind of price industrial demand would be killed dead Dodgy

It's all theory. He could be right, but there is no concrete evidence. I honestly think such calls do more harm than good for this market. The entire article is stated as fact, which it isn't.

I 100% doubt $8250/oz silver would kill the electronics industry...they would just pass the $132.62 cost onto the consumers. I would not let $132.65 keep me away from a cell phone or my computer!!!!Cool

Would love for it to hit $8,250, heck even $1,000. Problem is that it simply won't. Sad
