The sweepstakes will go live tonight at 10PM and last until 401 posts in this thread are reached. The 4 random numbers will be chosen by an online random generator and the screen recorded for proof. A file with the 4 random numbers between 2 and 401 will be zipped and password protected via Winrar and then posted publicly. After the contest is over, the password to the file will be publicly revealed as the last post on this thread, and the thread will close. Any posters who post more than once to this thread will be disqualified, but the post number will still count in the final tally to determine the 4 winning number posts. If a winner is found to be ineligible or otherwise not in compliance with these Official Rules, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected based on the formula of next lowest numbered thread below the disqualified thread. SWEEPSTAKES OPEN TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE U.S., INCLUDING THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA AND PUERTO RICO, WHO ARE ABOVE THE AGE OF MAJORITY IN THE STATE OR TERRITORY IN WHICH THEY RESIDE AT THE TIME OF ENTRY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.

Term: The 4 OUNCE SILVER FOR THE PEOPLE SWEEPSTAKES (“Sweepstakes”) begins on March 4th, 2012, at 10:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST), and ends when 400 unique users have posted to the Sweepstakes thread. Only one entry per registered user and only one post per registered user allowed on the Sweepstakes thread.

Eligibility: Sweepstakes is open to all legal residents of the 50 United States, District of Columbia and Puerto Rico, who are above the age of majority in the state or territory in which they reside at the time of entry. Void where prohibited. Sweepstakes is subject to all local, state and federal laws and regulations. By entering this Sweepstakes, all entrants agree to comply with and be bound by these Official Rules, and to comply with all federal, state and local laws and regulations.

How To Enter: No purchase necessary to enter or win the Sweepstakes.

Internet Entry

You can sign up as a new registered user at http://www.brotherjohnf.com/forum/, complete your registation via email and make a post on Sweepstakes forum. Only one entry per registered user and only one post per registered user allowed on the Sweepstakes thread. If you are selected as a winner you will need to complete a registration with your name, address, phone number and email address to collect your prize.

Prizes: The prizes will consist of 4 one ounce silver rounds in order of lowest random thread number selected as follows:

lowest random thread number selected wins a 1 ounce 1990 silver eagle coin (approximate retail value: $45)
2nd lowest random thread number selected wins a 1 ounce silver 2008 Canadian Olympic Maple Leaf (approximate retail value: $50)
3rd lowest random thread number selected wins a 1 ounce silver 2009 Perth Mint Koala (approximate retail value: $55)
Highest random thread number selected wins a 1 ounce silver 2007 Perth Mint Koala (approximate retail value: $75)

Winner Selection: Potential winner(s) will be selected at random using a 4 number random number generator between 2 and 401. The corresponding thread numbers matching the random numbers will be awarded the respective prizes. Potential winners will be contacted by e-mail at the e-mail address provided at forum registration. Winners will be required to complete an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release, and, where lawful, a Publicity Release within four (4) calendar days of notification. Failure to return the documents and/or requested information, or the return of any prize or prize notification as undeliverable, or if a winner is found to be ineligible or otherwise not in compliance with these Official Rules, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected based on the formula of next lowest numbered thread below the disqualified thread. Alternate drawings will be held for any prizes which remain unawarded(1000 entries not submitted. Thread numbers hit will be awarded) Odds of winning each prize are one in every 100 eligible entries received.

Prize Restrictions: Limit one (1) prize per individual/household during the Term. Prizes are non-transferable, and no substitutions are allowed except by Sponsor, who reserves the right to award a prize of equal or greater value, should the prize become unavailable for any reason. Any and all taxes and costs associated with the receipt and use of the prize are the responsibility of the winner.

Privacy: Any information collected will be subject to a strict Privacy Policy, and will not be released to 3rd parties. By entering the Sweepstakes, you acknowledge that you have agreed to such Policy and you consent to the collection, use and disclosure of your personal information for the purposes of administering this Sweepstakes in accordance with such Policy. Conduct: By participating, entrants agree to comply with and be bound by these Official Rules. Failure to comply with these Official Rules may result in disqualification from the Sweepstakes. Entrants further agree to comply with and be bound by decisions of Sponsor, which shall be final and binding in all respects. Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be: (a) tampering or attempting to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or any Sponsor web site; (b) violating these Official Rules; © violating the Official Rules of service, conditions of use and/or general rules or guidelines of any Sponsor property or service; or (d) acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person.

Release and Limitation of Liability. By entering, participants release and hold harmless Sponsor, respective parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees and related entities (collectively, “Releasees”) from any and all liability, claims or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages or losses to persons and property that may be sustained in connection with the receipt, ownership, or use of the prize from or arising out of participation in this Sweepstakes. Sponsor assumes no responsibility or liability for (1) any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries; (2) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by entrants, printing errors or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes; (3) any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or telephone lines, computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or entry to be received by Sponsor on account of technical problems, human error or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participant’s or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participation in this Sweepstakes or downloading any materials in this Sweepstakes; (4) technical or human error which may occur in the processing of entries; or (5) any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant’s participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt or use or misuse of any prize.

Internet: If for any reason this Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Sponsor which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, the Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and/or to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes.

CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES OR OTHER REMEDIES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON(S) RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ATTEMPT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

Online entry can only be made via one (1) e-mail address per person. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of a winner based on an e-mail address, the winning entry will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at time of entry. “Authorized account holder” is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization (e.g., business, educational, institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.

Force Majeure: The failure of the Releasees to comply with any provision of these Official Rules due to an act of God, hurricane, war, fire, riot, earthquake, act of public enemies, actions of governmental authorities outside of the control of the Releasees (excepting compliance with applicable codes and regulations) or other force majeure event will not be considered a breach of these Official Rules.

Disputes: Except where prohibited or otherwise outlined in these Official Rules, entrant agrees that: (1) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate State Court; (2) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this Sweepstakes, but in no event attorneys’ fees; and (3) under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, indirect, punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased.
