 1920's Mineral Resources Educational Documentary
Silent video from the 1920's with film scenes of American mining and the related industries. Great scenes of oil industries, coal mining, metal production (iron, copper & aluminum) along with transport via trucks, ships and railroads.Gold & Silver mines such as Cripple Creek are also featured.

Thats right, this was back when we had big industry. Something we dont see much of here in the USA. Those Number they present are small. It would be neat to do a comparison with todays numbers and population growth. I also noticed China was not on any of the lists. |
